About AHI

Kia Ora, Im Talia, 

AHI came to me as an idea when I moved home through the midst of exhaustion, grief, loneliness, confusion, you name it.

I was so lucky to find myself in one of the most beautiful places alongside some revolutionary women who helped me understand myself deeper and come to a realisation that our ancestors had limited options but they managed so well. 
 
I kept looking for something to "fix" me. 

But what I actually needed was the opposite, all I needed was to feel safe in my body, and I was surrounded by plants and community right here in Te Tai Tokerau.  

AHI has been created slowly over 7 months with intention and care, 

ROOT was the first thing we created, not as a product but as a practice. A simple mineral blend that helped me slow down, regulate and come back into rhythm, it gave me the motivation to go home and dive deeper into my whakapapa journey and I can't wait to share my learnings with you. 

This brand is personal to me, it's rooted in my own learning and commitment to doing things differently, I respect our land and our ancestors, all knowledge passed down to me is held with respect and care.
